I think Devs should go back to the old English-style cheesiness and horror. KF2 kind of feels like a high-budget, dumbed down, emotionless American action movie. All of these colors really allow you to see the zeds in new and different ways, see their horror in every shade revealing details you hadn't noticed before. In Biotics Lab we fought either in the green or the red light. In Bedlam it was a glorious rave party full of colored areas, yet one of the scariest maps in my opinion because of the darkness. In KF1 a map like Wyre was covered in red, downstairs colored in blue/purple/green. In my opinion they desperately need to make better maps with color themes, lower light, and about 500% more destructable lighting than their current maps. its just the way that they fit in the surrounding environment, idk lol. In general everything looks way too clean, way too smooth. Zeds are too shiny and polished looking, the skin of clots are gorefasts are far too reflective. In a lot of ways, the game simply looks too good.

They've improved the gameplay, but totally lost the feeling of the first game.

Its the "atmosphere", the scary ambient noises and zed talk, the very commonly low-lit environments, the "film grain" effect, the different color themes of maps.
